Born from the joint will of several transporters to exchange freight, the Astre network comes to light in 1992 with 12 members. Since then, 146 members have joined the Group, which, in itself, gave birth to developing several new stakes for meeting problems to which Group customers were faced with:

Logistic engineering

We are present on your logistic locations or your production plants, as consultant or active partner, after an extensive audit of your current process. We can boost your supply chain (supplying control, factory inflow logistics, upstream inventory management, handling, supply of your production lines, receipt, stock management, outflow logistics, storage, quality control on finished products, packing and delivery). A better transparency of all the stages of your supply chain will improve your performance and help you keep better control of your costs.

Storage

Our warehouses enable the storage of all your products, standard or dangerous; packed, on hangers, full loads, pallets, racks, in bulk, according to the IPCC* regulations, outside or inside, in warehouses maintained dry , safe, heated or at ambient temperature. A reliable computer tracking system guarantees a secured stocks reporting. We can also build warehouses specifically adapted to your particular requirements.

Order preparation

Our processes adapt to your flow requirements in order to optimise both the preparation time and your costs. It includes extensive controls on each operation. We work in close partnership and you are aware of all the necessary information, on simple files or through interface connections. Our services include retail picking, kitting, wayport, cross docking.

Reverse logistics

Pioneers on this activity, we manage the reverse logistics chain, in compliance to European and extra-european regulations. Our service includes the collection of returned or unsold products on every site, quality tests (including electric and electronic tests), separation, stock return or disposal. Thanks to a stringent and perpetual inventory process, you can control your financial flows in real time.

Packaging and product personalization

Our tools enable us to get involved in your supply chain, on demand. We can propose you value-added services such as personalisation, packaging, assembly, co-packing, electrical and electronical integration, bottle in, pick and pack, display cases preparation … Each operation is thoroughly tracked and provides a high level of control of production and stocks.

Overseas

Thanks to our worldwide overseas network, we manage your import or exports throughout the whole logistic chain. We can provide you with multimodal transport solutions, customs procedures, container loading and unloading. This range of services is integrated to our logistic activities. You are guaranteed to get a responsive and fluent management of your international flows.

 

ASTRE Distribution

To enlarge ASTRE LOGISTICS activities Our haulier’s group gives you an access to a more than 10 000 vehicles fleet. We are, at any time, able to guarantee the distribution of your shipments on the whole European territory.

PALET System

Thanks to our European network of palets distribution, you are assured to get high standard services, with guaranteed lead time. Through a unique go-between and a sole delivery process, you are ensured that your shipments are safely delivered anywhere in Europe.

Multi-modal services

Highly concerned by efficiency and sustainable development, ASTRE Logistics uses daily the whole range of its multi-modal haulage solutions, railroads or river roads. Energy-consuming is controlled and environment preserved.
